Y6 pupil wins Staffordshire Cyber Crime Prevention competition

We are so proud of Hollie in Y6. She was one of six Kingfisher Academy pupils to enter a county-wide poster competition organised by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Staffordshire, and was named the winner of the competition, beating entries by pupils from over 30 Staffordshire schools.

Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Arnold attended our Celebrations Assembly this week to meet Hollie and present her with her prize - a certificate and a £25 shopping voucher. DPCC Arnold told us that she was very impressed by the focus we put on good citizenship here at Kingfisher Academy and she was honoured to have been able to attend our assembly where children's academic and social efforts are recognised and rewarded.
